I’m a 20 year old woman who suffers from health problems including celiac and possible aspergers and I’ve always had a flat face. I can’t see any definition there, it’s like I have no cheekbones, would fillers help with this? What options do I have to improve the definition of my face. Thanks
Answer: Facial Sculpting Candidate -- Fillers, Threads, Fat Transfer, Implants, See an expert It's difficult to say without the benefit of a formal evaluation. This is my expertise and a huge portion of my practice. Asymmetry is normal and expected. See an expert who does facial shaping with surgical and non surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: I have no cheekbones, would fillers help with this? Dear sweetpea000, Thank you for your enquiry. Yes fillers could be used to achieve more defined cheek bones. Fillers however are not permanent and therefore this is something that would be on-going commitment if you are to maintain the desired look. I would suggest seeking a consultation with a certified practitioner. Good luck and best wishes, Mr Golchin

Answer: I have no cheek bones, would filler help? I do think that filler would give you some of your cheeks back. I like to use cannulas for this. The filler I would use is probably Defyne but maybe Lyft. Probably one syringe per side is needed.

Answer: Fillers for Flat Cheekbones At your age, loss of fat and bone structure in the face is uncommon but will appear and progress as we age. Addressing your concerns with filler now would be the start of a life long commitment but well worth it if you achieve a look that makes you happy! Juvederm Voluma and Juvederm Ultra Plus would both accentuate the natural curves, no matter how apparent they are now, and enhance the curvature of the face. Proper injection will provide a natural look without the "filled face" look that is less desirable. The new VYCROSS fillers from Allergan/Juvederm, including Voluma, can last up to 18-24 months requiring less frequent injection. Juvederm Ultra Plus in the mid-face can last up to a year in most people. Achieving your ideal level of correction may take more time and filler initially but if you are good about maintaining the filler you should not have to use the amount initially required. These products are hyaluronic acid fillers which have been seen to boost natural collagen production which will help maintain natural cheek plumpness over time- waiting for the "official" study on this to come out- just personal/professional experience talking in that regard. Good luck!
