Answer: Breasts going south ? Thanks for your question and the photos. The Photos don't show a lot so I will have to discuss the concepts here. There are two things that can go south after BA. The implant itself, and the natural breast tissue. The larger the implant, the more it responds to gravity over time. It is a paradox. We want to make our patients happy, and many women want larger implants, but in placing larger implants there is more likelhood they will go down over time. It is hard to convince a patient that the short term gain may not be worth the droop over time. Your early picture is likely before you fully dropped. There is dramatic upper pole fullness that patients enjoy before the implant gets to its normal position. When they get to their normal position the thinking is often " I liked them when they were higher-- I should have gone bigger". The opposite is true. Biggger would have likely relaxed more.Natural breast tissue also responds to gravity. Any woman with a good amount of natural breast tissue will always regain some droop. I actually think this looks more natural. Natural breast relaxation is dependant on other factors as well such as weight gain and loss and hormonal variation. Many patient want what I call a "gravity defying breast". Patients with this kind of result are usually younger women with good skin tone, little natural tissue to begin with and a common sense size implant. In this situation there is little to go south. If your implant is in good position and the issue is natural tissue droop you could consider a lift and even reduction of the natural breast, leaving less natural tissue to go south. elevating an implant would be more complex but is possible. Hope these concepts make sense.

Answer: Breast sagging So hard to tell from the photos you submitted. Implants do drop a bit with time. Especially if support is not worn. The other issue is what your skin was like prior to surgery. Do you have children? Did you breast feed? How old are your? Have you had a weight loss? All of these things affect your results Hope this helps. All the Best Dr. J
