I had a BBL 6 months ago and I am completely unhappy with my results. My butt is way too big for my size. I am considering having some of the injected fat removed. How long before I could sit on my butt after liposuction? Also, how much time do I need to request off from work?

Answer: BBL To reduce the size of the buttock after BBL, it is important to wait till all swelling and healing has taken place. Then decide based on the quality of the skin and the amount of liposuction needed. You do not want to end up with a droopy buttocks.Recovery from the liposuction to reduce the buttock size is fairly quick. You should be back to normal within a week. Make sure you are making the right decision, and choosing the surgeon who understands what you want to achieve and take the buttock aesthetics in consideration when performing the liposuction.

Answer: Recovery after liposuction The time to recover varies from patient to patient.Having add these procedures in the past you probably have as good of an idea as anyone in terms of how long it takes to recover. The main difference will be that there should be les restrictions in regards to sitting on your bottom after liposuction as opposed to fat transfer. Using a pillow took place most of the weight on the back of the flies instead of buttocks helps while sitting. Because this is a revision liposuction procedure my guess is it will be tolerated easier than the liposuction you had for your Brazilian. It can be an anatomically more challenging place to heal because of sitting.Best,Mats Hagstrom M.D.
