I had hydrogel injections 5yrs ago. The only thing that went wrong is that I got the Tyndall effect which you can hardly see only under a certain lighting. Am I able to get fat transfer after hydrogel injections to my gluteus?

Hi... thank you for the question... I do not suggest any treatment in the buttock area when it have been previously injected, because we do not know how it can react.

Brazilian Butt Lift after previous hydrogel injection can be a risky procedure.  You and your surgeon need to discuss carefully the risks, as I believe they are likely higher for you than for other women who have not had this done.  I definitely recommend soliciting multiple opinions on your options.  Sorry and good luck.

There is an increased infection risk if a Brazilian butt lift is performed over previous hydrogel injections. Most surgeons are unwilling to take this risk. Infection of injected material can lead to significant chronic problems.
