While the right side and the left side of your face should be sisters, your lips should be twins. It should absolutely be your injector's goal to achieve as much symmetry of your lips as possible. Research the various providers' "before & after" pictures to get a sense whether they use techniques that actually contour and shape the upper and lower lip, or whether their techniques simply inflate the lip tissue. A thorough consultation is a key to discuss your realistic end-results and treatment plan.

You may be able to create more symmetry in the cupid's bow height between the left and the right side. Other asymmetries cannot be corrected with fillers however. Make sure you go to a plastic surgeon with experience using fillers. I hope this helps and good luck from New York City plastic surgery
