The day after a hair transplant, what should you do, and not do?

It is best to ask your surgeon about post operative care as each doctor has their unique regimen.   A day after surgery, just take it easy (in the most general term).

The most important thing not to do immediately after a transplant is not manipulate or dislodge the grafts.Taking a walk,traveling or performing your daily activities should be fine.Check with your surgeon regarding post procedure care and precautions.

You should contact the physician
that did your hair transplant and follow their recommendations. As far as what we recommend to our
patients, exercise may resume after the 4th day.  You should be performing twice a day hair
washes to help gently remove the scabs. 
Trans-continent travel can make this a little difficult.  You should sleep at a 30 to 45 degree angle
for the first 4 days to help reduce swelling. 
Wear a hat or use 30 spf sunblock spray if going out for walks. See our
