I had FUE hair transplant 3000 grafts 27 days back. I am attaching a picture of my implant area. I am concerned that there are 2 places where the scabs ate still there. When I try to remove it seems the area has not healed. It's still very stuck to the scabs. Also I am worried about my density and results after these 27 days. Is everything normal? Please help. Help me in understanding about the apparent results of the transplant and the density? Also, why are the scabs still not getting removed?

Answer: Necrosis of the Recipient Area Great questions, no, unfortunately it is not normal those big scabs after 27 days PO and they are NECROTIC AREAS related to decrease of the blood supply in your recipient area. I will suggest you to do nothing to the scabs and to see your hair surgeon immediately. It is too soon to respond about the density question, I will suggest you to let the hair growth 10-15 months for the evaluation of the final results including density. Good luck

Answer: Results 27 days after surgery 27 days is much too early to see results from a hair transplant. However, the scabs you mention look to be on the thick side and could well be due to loss of skin in the area. This is uncommon and is more common in smokers. You need to go back and see your surgeon; that area needs attention.

Answer: Skin Necrosis Hi there, your area of permanent "scabbing" is actually skin necrosis or at least it appears to be. I would recommend you urgently see your surgeon as you will not grow hair in this area. All the best.
