You should not worry that some aggressive hair washing will affect your results after 80 days.
You can get a better idea of your results 9 - 12 months post op. Discuss with your physician different options available to you in preventing further hair loss.
It is highly unlikely that you had 3,800 follicular units performed in 4.5 hours but not impossible . Unfortunately, we have seen many patients whom have been told one thing and received something else when having their surgery performed in Turkey. We see these patients as they present to us needing some much needed revisions. I suggest that you consider a qualified hair surgeon in the United States if you are looking fro additional density in the future.
Rest assured this is normal. The transplant is well rooted by day 5. Follow the remainder of your surgeons post op instructions.
Finasteride is more effective in reducing hair loss and in some men with male pattern baldness has the potential of growing some fine hairs. By 9 months you should have seemed some results , if any. Since you are still in the early stages of male pattern baldness I suggest you take time to meet with a Hair restoration specialist to advise you on a multi-tiered treatment plan that will help maintain your hair and plan out how you can best implement other procedures such as FUE , Micro-Pigmentation and laser light therapy schedules so that you can maintain a full natural hairline throughout the years to come. Moreover, in my practice we have seen aa subset of patients whom have rapid hair loss that is not adequately diminished by the use of Finasteride and Minoxidil. In these patients we try and define other issues that are further accelerating their Male Pattern Hair loss. These factors include, hormonal imbalances (exogenous steroids), elevated stress, adrenal fatigue, and gut flora imbalances. In our experience identifying and correcting these co-contributory factors has resulted in diminished hair loss and micronization of hair follicles.
