New bruising and slight pain 4 weeks post op mastopexy. Should I be concerned?

it is not normal to have new bruising and pain after 4 weeks.  I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment it would be difficult to determine what is wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment. Only after thorough examination you can get proper recommendations and advice.

Thanks for your inquiry , it is not normal to have new onset painful bruising a month after surgery.  Please discuss with your surgeon, send pictures and discuss management. Good Luck.

You did not post photos, and you can always send your surgeon photos. However, you probably overdid things and got a small bruise. Apply some cold compresses for comfort.

Hello, and thank you for your question. (Keep in mind that an in-person consultation is necessary for the best advice.) It is difficult without seeing a picture or examining you. It could be a number of things including something minor (e.g., a simple bruise) or something more significant (e.g., a collection of blood). You should speak with your plastic surgeon promptly and ask for his/her advice. Best of luck!
