Since the general consesus on time it takes for bellafill results seems to be at least 2-6 months, is there any way to speed up the body's process in replacing/forming its own collagen from the PMMA in the bellafill injections so that the results can happen sooner? Is there anything you can apply to your skin, or take in the form of supplements or food to boost/speed up collagen production?

Answer: Bellafill stimulation Thank you for your question. There is really nothing you can do to speed up the collagen production that is stimulated by Bellafill. Keep in mind that as the carrier collagen matrix is absorbed by your body, new collagen is beginning to form. I have used HA fillers such as Restylane in conjunction with Bellafill for patients looking for a more immediate enhancement but this involves a go slow approach with the Bellafill to avoid over-correction.I hope this was helpful - Dr. Moore.

Answer: Bellafill There is really no way to speed up the process. However, the good news is that I have never seen a case in which Bellafill did not stimulate collagen in the way we that expect. There is certainly variability in how long it takes for each patient. I have some patients that see great results within a couple of months and a some that take up to 9-10 months.
