I’ve tried a cool compress and ibuprofen but nothing works. I’m concerned now that I’m going to have this pain constantly going forward when I smile .

Answer: Expertise in the management of silicone and Bellafill complications Bellafill and Artefill are known to cause granulomas. Although used for soft tissue augmentation, they can, and are known to cause permanent nodules and swelling. This is not the case for everyone.

Answer: Pain after Bellafill It is possible to develop some mild pain after a Bellafill injection. Normally, this should resolve completely over time but it could take several days to a week or so. If you feel the pain is getting worse or is not improving, you should contact the physician who treated you.

Answer: Discomfort and pain after Bellafill There should be some mild pain after the procedure for a few days. If severe, it needs to be evaluated. OTC pain medications should cover the pain. Rarely, a nerve is injured during injection and that takes a while to recover.
