You can wear a beanie or a hat after you have healed. If you are concerned about timing please contact your doctor. You should worry more about the crusting and scabbing. Please contact your doctor.
It would be fine to wear a loose fitting hat at this point.BTW,it looks as if you have a significant amount of crusting-are you following the post-op hair washing regimen? Please check with your surgeon.
You are totally ok to wear hat at that stage as long as it's loose and does not rub / touch the grafts. You want to avoid any form of physical interaction that may dislodge the grafts.Make sure you are following your post op instructions meticulously as it seems like you have a lot of scabbing / crusting.
A loose, non-woolen cap should be fine at this point. Check you are washing your head correctly, that amount of scabbing is unusual and likely means you aren't washing thoroughly enough.
Yes, I put a cap on top of transplanted head of my patients after operation .You can wear a cap after 4-5 days and also jogging, running, sauna, cycling etc don't give any harm after 2 weeks of operation .
Thank you for the post and question. Typically we ask patients to wait atleast 8 to 10 days prior before wearing any hats or caps. You want to make sure the hat is not touching the grafted recipient sites, and is loose fitting. Hope this helps, best wishes.
Thank you for asking this question.Yes, one can start wearing a cap from the next day of transplant itself. Looking at the picture, we would advise to please clean the transplanted area. . If you find some scabs difficult to go then you can try a cotton piece dipped in Luke-warm water and keep it over that particular scab for 10 to 15 minutes before head wash. The cleaner the transplant the better the growth. Good luck! Regards, Dr. Amit Gupta
Yes, yes can wear a hair. An FUE is treated just like a regular hair transplant with regard to the recipient area, but the donor area has open wounds which require daily washing with soap and water. Within 3 days of surgery, you can resume full activities, heavy exercises if you wish. The recipient area requires daily washes as well to keep the recipient area free of crusts. I generally recommend the use of a sponge and supply my patient with a surgical sponge to fill with soapy water and press on the recipient area daily. By repeating this daily, all crusts can be washed off without any fear of losing grafts. IF any crust are present, use a Q tip and dip it into soapy water, and roll it on the crusts and that will lift them off without dislodging them, but never rub them, just roll the Q tip on the recipient crust. I like to see no evidence of any crusting in the recipient area and the crusts from the donor area gone in 7-10 days with daily washing.
Photos cannot assess if you would be a "good" candidate for surgery. Usually this involves seeing a doctor in person so you explain your clear goals to the doctor and the doctor can give you a realistic expectation. 2000 grafts may be fine for others but you may not be happy if your goals a...

It is best to ask your surgeon about post operative care as each doctor has their unique regimen. In general you can resume normal activity and cut your hair when the area has healed. It may take one to two weeks.
