finding the right Dr. is extremely challenging especially with the number of online platforms and resources available. There a lot of great Dr's available. Make sure he/she is a board-certified plastic surgeon. Definitely check to make sure your choice specializes in the procedure you want and spend the time to read through patient testimonials. There is a number of different sites where you can check for reviews (Realself, yelp, google, etc.).You can always pick up the phone and call around also, find an office you feel comfortable with and set up a few consultations.

Thank you for your question. Surgeons will all have their own protocol they wish to follow when it comes to operating on a patient with past medical issues. Some of the medical issues would force a Surgeon to do the procedure in the hospital. With that being said I would continue to work on finding a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and see them in person to discuss the options. They may require some additional medical clearance from your specialists. Best of luck to you.

Based on your photographs you appear to be a good candidate so further information regarding your medical history and desired goals needs to be entertained before proceeding with surgery. I would do some homework and find surgeons to have in-person consultations with to get the best advice.

I think you need to find out whether it’s your medical history that is the issue or whether surgeons just don’t think they can give you a good result. It appears to me you are a reasonable candidate for a tummy tuck so it might be your prior medical history

You may have other issues that you are not disclosing. Otherwise, ask the surgeons you have seen the reason for not wanting to do surgery.

From your photos it appears you are a candidate for the procedures you are considering. Do you have clearance letters from your specialists? Those may be helpful in finding a surgeon. You can review the ASPS website to find board certified plastic surgeons in your area.

Typically the process begins by scheduling in person consultations at which time you’ll get an assessment and can discuss your medical history with the surgeon. The surgeon without telling you what they think regarding your assessment and potential operations that could be useful as well as concerns they may have about your medical history. if they feel you’re not a candidate for surgery then they will tell you so. they should also tell you why. If they have concerns about any of your medical history then they may ask for certain tests or to get clearance from doctors with other medical specialties.
I highly recommend patience avoid virtual consultations whenever possible.
I also recommend avoiding traveling long distances for elective surgical procedures.
Your abdomen does not look normal and it looks like you’ve had liposuction in the past.Most plastic surgeons are generally motivated to do surgery because that’s how they make a living.
Schedule multiple in person consultations to get an accurate assessment and a better understanding of different treatment options as well A clear understanding of why surgeons may have apprehensions.
