Considering a bbl with liposuction - will I also need a tummy tuck to achieve my desired look? (photos)

Hi, thank you for sharing your question. Based on these photos alone, you will not require a tummy tuck. However, if an in person evaluation reveals significant skin laxity, a tummy tuck would be best.

You appear to have loose skin, therefore a tummy tuck would be recommended. Without one, you’ll be left with more loose skin and a possible muffin top.

If you want a flat stomach, the best solution for you will be a tummy tuck. It seems like you have skin laxity on your abdomen and belly button. Liposuction will only make the skin laxity worse. Yes, you will have some skin contraction after the surgery, but not enough to achieve a flat stomach. After it's your body, so your decision. I would advise you to talk with your surgeon of choice about the two possibilities, your expectation, and estimated results so you can take a decision based on that.

Thank you for your question regarding if you will also need a tummy tuck with your BBL and liposuction. By examining your photos, it seems you have excess skin, excess fat, and stretch marks. Because of these reasons, you will be better off with a tummy tuck in combination with your BBL. If you choose not to get a tummy tuck, you will have hanging excess skin of your abdomen. I believe that with the BBL and a tummy tuck and 360 Lipo, you will get the results that you desire. Thanks for your question! It does look as though you have a fair amount of loose skin on your abdomen. If you just do liposuction to an area of loose skin, it will make that skin laxity worse. I would suggest a tummy tuck for an optimal result. Good luck!

based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a BBL. Liposuction of your abdomen, back and flanks should give you more curves and hourglass shape and fat transfer to buttocks should give you more projection. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

I would suggest first having liposuction. You may do very well and be surprised how flat your abdomen is.

For loose skin there are several options. But not all the treatments fit for all. If there is significant skin abundancy, a tummy-tuck is the best option to have a flat stomach with narrowed waist. If the skin excess is less, then an energy-based approach like j-plasma or radiofrequency will solve the problem.
For your situation, the best option looks to be a tummy-tuck. Because the skin is already loose, and it will be looser after fat is taken for BBL.
