What other options should I consider for this dent in my face if the saline injection doesn't work? (photos)

Indentations after steroid injections are common, and many get better on their own over the first 3 months after injection. If there is a persistent indentation, we have had good success with microdroplet Silikon-1000, a permanent filler. Hope this helps. Dr Joseph

This will usually correct after a few saline injections. If it does not correct but the saline is able to make it look temporarily corrected, a filler would help.

Administration of saline cannot possibly correct the volume loss created by a steroid injection. Saline is only used to determine if increasing volume in any given area allows the skin to pop up into its normal position while creating a short-lived improvement. If saline does push out the skin, then you can definitely can undergo a filler injection to correct the issue or better yet after a few months have the area filled with your own fat for permanent and natural results. I recommend subcision of the indented area with nano/micro fat grafting of 2-5 cc's. Maybe HA fillers could help or even Sculptra injections. This also could take a few sessions. Expect fees in the $3,000+ ranges.

Celine injections will do nothing for you and are a waste of time. What you need is fat grafting, but I would not consider it for probably six months or longer. In the meantime, you can inject the area with a filler and then consider fat grafting when the filler dissolves.
