I have thought about some kind of procedure to fix what 4 pregnancies have done to my breast, but am unsure of where to start. I have 4 children and I breast fed them all. My last baby is now 3 and I’m one year post breast feeding officially. I do not plan on having any more children And I would like to begin exploring my options, but before I make a consultation, I was curious if there was a way to enhance the look of my breasts without scars. Ive never had surgery before and I do not know how my skin will react to stitches. I’m a small lady, 35y , Is it possible to avoid scars, assuming my only option is a regular breast lift. The anchor scars I would not be happy with. Also, I now have one breast a full cup larger than the other.

Do I need a breast lift? None needed. I recommend an in person consultation with a plastic surgeon to discuss your goals and be measured. After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of women (my patients) with similar measurements with different size and style breast implants. They also get to see what they would look like when the breasts have fully dropped and fluffed and in clothes. You get to see actual results and the surgeon's experience and not a virtual idea of what can be achieved. Women tell me that this process is very helpful in determining what size and style breast implant is right for them. Mildly Sagging Breasts: If your breasts are mildly droopy, a saline or silicone gel implant placed behind the pectoral muscle might help create the illusion of perkiness. That’s because as the implant fills out the top of the breast, it also fills out the bottom, making it look as if the nipple has moved higher. It hasn’t. The technique I recommend is a breast lift using the Bellesoma. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. Later, fat transfers or small implants can be placed if additional volume is desired.

Thank you for your pictures and questions. To give you the quick answer to your question, no, there is no way to enhance your breast completely without scars. Any type of surgical intervention is going to require a scar of some kind. If you are looking to volumize your breast, there are options out there other than implants that provide more modest volume increase with minimal breast scars (small poke-hole incisions) such as autologous fat grafting or even Alloclae (an off-the-shelf injectable fat product). However, those options are only going to provide increases in volume, not any changes to the breast shape, nipple position, etc. In your photos it shows that you have some significant drooping of the breast and a low nipple position (likely grade 2/3). This can only be corrected with a lift to remove redundant tissue and skin and reposition the nipple and this would result in additional scarring on the breast. Lots of people are worried about scars but most people heal very well and the scars fade with time and are acceptable. The best option for you would be a breast augmentation with implant and a mastopexy (breast lift). Hope this helps!

Based on what you describe, you may be a good candidate to explore breast lift options, especially since you are one year post breastfeeding and do not plan future pregnancies. Unfortunately, a true breast lift cannot be performed without scars, but the scar pattern depends on how much lifting and reshaping is needed. In some cases, smaller-scar techniques may be possible instead of a full anchor scar. Breast asymmetry can also often be improved during surgery. The best way to understand your options is through a consultation and examination of your skin quality, breast volume, and degree of sagging.
