Lumpy and wrinkled abdomen skin after vaser lipo. What can be done to help get some what my body back? (photo)

Thank you for your question and photos. VASER Lipo is a highly specialized body sculpting technique. This can reveal the underlying muscle anatomy, it is a three dimensional procedure. You had the standard two dimensional fat reduction liposuction by someone who was not trained well with the VASER. It just shows, that not everyone who owns a tool like the VASER is adept at using it, or understands advanced body sculpting techniques.You were liposuctioned aggressively and close to the underside of the skin, not based on your underlying muscle and bony anatomy. You need to wait at least 6 months to 8 months before any corrective surgery can be undertaken.

Thank you for your question. I‘m sorry to read about your frustrating experience. It appears too much fat was removed, and unevenly so, leaving you with irregular redundant (loose) skin. The good news in that in the right hands, you can enjoy a smooth contour again. 
It is not possible to predict what this would require from a photo alone. Options include Renuvion, removal of excess skin, or a mini- or full-tummy tuck. Video consultation with a body contouring expert will help you understand the options available.

Hello. Thank you for your question. It appears that you had poorly done liposuction or postop-care. You could consider another revision and smoothening out by an expert in liposuction. Skin tightening with renuvion with liposuction is another option to help with the redundant skin.

 sometimes this can be due to underlying seroma as the skin appear like orange peel.
Best see you Dr again about this, or go for an ultrasound.
If its purely laxity in skin then not much can be done except wait and see how the skin contracts.  If it does not then an abdominoplasty is the only alternative.

This may not improve but I would give it a few months. I've fixed such results with a tummy tuck in a few patients who were treated elsewhere. 

What happened is that your surgeon did not take into account skin redundancy that has occurred following too much fat removal; your abdomen can be corrected with tightening of your skin and/or a small excision of skin. As an official Vaser trainer I perform revision contouring weekly and appreciate your concern of skin irregularity but I can assure you that this can be fixed. poorly done liposuction it is difficult to correct enough to not possible. This is especially true for those who have been over treated. Based on your picture it looks like far too much that was removed and it was done so in an uneven fashion.  I don't believe this can be corrected. One option could be to wait at least six months then convert this to a full abdomioplasty. I cannot emphasize enough the importance of seeking expertise and experience when choosing a provider.  probably the best you can do at this point it's negotiate to get some of your funds back.  Best, Mats Hagstrom M.D.
