Is this fat, swelling or skin 10 days after renuvion and Vaser chin lipo?

Thanks for your question.I believe your skin will improve. There is some residual swelling that induration that happens with these procedures. Please allow more time to have the skin and swelling improve. Consider massage to help.

Yes, you have swelling, which can last 3-6 months after your procedure. To speed up healing, you can try adding hyperbaric oxygen, lymphatic massage, venus legacy or exilis radiofrequency treatments. Rest assured at this early postoperative time point you certainly still have swelling present.  You can see swelling persist for 2-3 months and final tightening results can take even longer - upwards of 6-9 months.  Give yourself some time and follow your surgeon's recommendations for postoperative care (e.g. compression, elevation, lymphatic massage).  Good luck!

based on your pictures you do not appear to have been an ideal candidate for this procedure.  The primary reason for having a less than desirable profile is a skeletal and balance with a small and lack projection mandible(jaw bone) Perhaps a better procedure would have been a chin implant.  I skin tightening procedure may have served you better as well.  You really did not appear to have excess fat that needed to be removed. Your results it's a combination of early postoperative swelling together with perhaps overzealous liposuction treatment and someone who may not have needed that procedure. Sorry to be blunt and understand I'm going by limited information. Best, Mats Hagstrom,MD

on your recent procedure...The procedure of liposuction is an
"insult" to the soft tissues, resulting in swelling which will
initially totally obscure the operative result. 60-80% of the swelling should subside within the first 6 weeks, with the remainder slowly subsiding over 6-12 months.
The skin will redrape over the underlying soft tissues over a period of several months. Laser effect may take 6 months.
The
purpose of a compression garment is to prevent bleeding and to control
swelling. We usually recommend its use for the first 4-6 weeks after the
procedure. 
One is unable to tell from a photograph the composition of the fullness you exhibit 10 days after surgery. Allow time for the swelling to subside for 3-6 months to assess the result.
