Is it too late after the procedure to start wearing my garment again to help see better results? I'm 3 months post op.

Hello Drs! I had a Vaser Lipo suction about three months ago. I still have some hard lumpy areas that concern me. I wore my compression garment for a month as instructed by my surgeon. He told me that wearing it any longer would not make much of a difference in my results so I stopped wearing it. Is this true? When will the lumpiness go away? Do you think it’s too late for me to start wearing a compression garment again to try to smooth things out?

Thanks for your question.I believe your skin will improve. There is some residual swelling that induration that happens with these procedures. Please allow more time to have the skin and swelling improve. Consider massage to help.

Hello,Thanks for your question. It is not uncommon to have itching after liposuction. All the swelling and firmness is normal for the first few weeks to months. Make sure you consider manual lymphatic massage to help.
