Your breasts are sagging very low on the chest wall. The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reduce and reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. The weight of the breast is transferred to the underlying pectoralis major muscle resulting in pain relief without excessive reduction. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.
Thank you for your question. You are a great candidate for breast reduction surgery but as I say to all my patients, surgery is beneficial if it is affecting your health or self-esteem. As a response to your question, you do have significant drooping of your breasts. Thank you and have a lovely day.
Hello, thank you for your question. There is no such thing as a normal breasts. Breast shapes, sizes, pigmentation are all differ for person to person. In plastic surgery usually the patient wants the change of what they feel is the norm for them. We base it off of how low the areola sits. If the areola sits below the breast fold and is not in the center of the chest wall than from a scientific view that would be something we would address.
Hello,Thank you for the question.Based on your photos, you appear to have low nipple position and droopy/heavy breasts. You appear to be a good candidate for a full mastopexy (breast lift) which will put your nipples into the correct position, decrease the size of nipple/areola and allow excess skin to be taken away, giving you a more youthful looking breast. Some people are a little apprehensive to the full breast lift due to the scars, but typically they do very well. If you desire to have smaller breasts and not just the uplifted breast look, then breast reduction may be a better options for you.I would encourage you to seek a consultation with a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon to further discuss your options, specific techniques, concerns and expectations.I hope this helps.Best regards, Dr. KaranetzDr. Irena KaranetzBreast Fellowship-TrainedBoard Certified Plastic Surgeon
Your breasts look normal and if you aren’t experiencing any issues with them, there’s no need to pursue treatment.
Thank-you for your question! When the nipples lie below the level of the infra-mammary fold, that is the crease or fold between the chest and the breast, the breasts are regarded as having ptosis or droopiness. Yours do seem to be in that situation. A breast lift my be appropriate in this condition, if you so desire. Please find an experienced Board Certified Plastic surgeon near you who can examine you and help you with all your concerns. All the best!
Dear Modest938612,based on your photo, it looks like your breasts are saggy. 3. My preferred lift is a lollipop lift when a periareolar won't do (ie greater than 2cm lift required). The lollipop technique was created by a Canadian plastic surgeon named Elizabeth Hall-Findley and treats the breast as a three dimensional structure instead of two dimensions (anchor - lift). Most importantly it does not require the horizontal component scars that the anchor-lift requires and breasts appear much more natural, lifted, and less boxy. Lastly, the lift lasts longer because the lollipop doesn't rely on the skin to hold the breast up, its actually breast tissue thats being brought together to support the breast and hence improves longevity. From your photo it appears your breasts are sagging, where the nipple position is below the natural breast fold. You can elect to have a lift if you'd like them higher. You could also consider a reduction if you'd like less volume. I'm including a video that may interest you on a procedure that involves lifting the breast and using your own tissue to give upper pole fullness.
You do have sagging, probably because your breast grew very quickly to this size. A reduction would do very well for you.
Hi and welcome to our forum! There really is no range of "normal" as some individuals are small breasted and some large breasted. From your photos, your breasts are massive in size and are relatively symmetric, the distance from the top of the breastbone to the nipples is greatly increased as is the distance from the nipple to the fold beneath the breasts, the nipples reside a significant distance below the fold at the bottom of the breasts and you demonstrate a severe sag. However, this is "normal" for breasts of this size.If your breasts have stopped growing, you may wish to consider breast reduction. A breast reduction will remove a significant amount of breast tissue and skin, will elevate the nipple areolar complexes into anatomic position, will fill out the superior poles of the breasts, and will conify the shape of the breasts. You may loose the ability to lactate as the result of the procedure. I would be surprised if you didn't suffer from a degree of neck, back, and shoulder pain and bra strap grooving as the result of your breast size.Best wishes...
You are probably right that the wrinkles you are seeing are due to stretching of the breast skin while breast-feeding. These will likely go away over time.I think that the photograph accentuates them more than they naturally occur since you seem to be holding your breast up a bit. I would give...
In order to get the look close to your wish pic, you would need high profile implants placed in a dual plane 2 position or higher. You don't need a donut mastopexy at this time as you will get some lift from the implants. Please see a board certified plastic surgeon. Good luck!
Hello, thank you for your question. Yes you can indicate to your plastic surgeon that you want a somewhat larger areola. The reason we make them on the smaller end is because over time it will expand and stretch out. Its difficult to predict the size so we approximate it. You can add to the scar...
