I am 40 F. I wish I could get chin lipo or a facelift but I can’t because I don’t have anyone to care for me during recovery or for my child. I would be too embarrassed to ask family or friends. I was told Morpheus 8 was a bad idea for double chin and jaw line and that I should do skin pen w prp. I love the office they have done amazing so far for me. Filler/dysport. Will skin pen help my jaw? I do have acne scars and hope it will help that too. 3 treatments I was quoted for 1600
Answer: Skin Pen Hello, Skin Pen will address your concerns of acne scarring and any fine lines and wrinkles. Skin Pen works by promoting collagen and elastin production by creating mini micro wounds to the skin which then signals the collagen and elastin to repair. Skin Pen will not however do much for tightening of the skin.

Answer: Skin pen vs. Morpheus Hello! Skin pen will not really help with reducing fat and tightening the jawline! Microneedling is good for skin textural issues such as fine lines, wrinkles, pore size, acne scarring and even hyperpigmentation. Our office typically recommends 3 treatments also, but again depending on the severity of your skin it might take a few more sessions. For tightening we actually do recommend Morpheus 8, the reason why is because of the radio frequency, Morpheus is microneedling with RF, it will help with all skin textural issues like the skin pen, but since it is using RF that is what's going to help dissolve unwanted fat and tighten the skin depending on how high of energy the provider uses on you so you can achieve that "snatched" jawline!

Answer: SkinPen SkinPen will be helpful in addressing your acne scar concerns. For your jawline you can consider FaceTite. This minimally invasive procedure helps to tighten skin and melt fat in the lower face and neck areas. No general anesthesia is required. See my webiste or a provider near you to learn more.

Answer: Skin pen for chin, neck and jowl area Hello, and thank you for your question. I would recommend the Skinpen treatment for skin texture and acne scarring. It will not however address your chin and neck area. Microneedling is mainly done for the texture of the skin. For that area, I would recommend Coolsculpting and/or Kybella if you are a good candidate because those both have no downtime and great results. Good luck in your journey!

Answer: Will help with some problems SkinPen will somewhat help with the texture and scars. The the best would be to pair it with TCA and subscision for scars. Morpheus8 will not help with the chin but also may help with the scars. The results of SkinPen and Morpheus8 are very comparable. In some instances, Morpheus8 may slim the lower face but the results are very unreliable and patient-dependent. The recovery from liposuction is minimal, you would not need special care, and it may be combined with tightening and give you more stable results. Another option is Kybella, it does cause some swelling but it is pretty tolerable. Best, Dr. K
