SkinPen Q&A

I just did the VI Peel on 2/23 - last Thursday. I am recovering well. Peeling a lot today but I think it will subside by tomorrow morning. My derm office told me that SkinPen microneedling would be a good option for me - I have some cystic acne scars... Would it be ok to do the microneedling 4 weeks after the Peel - 3/23? Would it be better to have those treatments back to back or should I wait another month or so??

Have slight indentation on nose tip resulting from hyfrecation of freckle with poorly healed scabbing, Had done this in past w no scabbing. Now I have very shallow divot on nose tip with freckle/hyperpigmentation within. Feel disfigured now and it looks different depending on how light hits my nose. Would like to explore conservative modality (dont want to make it worse!) to break up pigment/fill in divot. Will SkinPen be a good option for this? I dont ever want to scab there again!

Hello, I had 4 sessions of Skin-pen microneedling done one month apart, at a board certified place. Healing each time was uncomplicated. It has now been 4 months since my last session. I feel like my scars look way more pronounced than when I started. I know they said the microneedling can widen scars as it smooths them out, but they just look wider and actually deeper than before. What happened? Do you think more sessions would help improve this?

I am 40 F. I wish I could get chin lipo or a facelift but I cant because I dont have anyone to care for me during recovery or for my child. I would be too embarrassed to ask family or friends. I was told Morpheus 8 was a bad idea for double chin and jaw line and that I should do skin pen w prp. I love the office they have done amazing so far for me. Filler/dysport. Will skin pen help my jaw? I do have acne scars and hope it will help that too. 3 treatments I was quoted for 1600

I have large pores. Does skinpen microneedling enlarge pore?

Im looking at getting this done. I trust both providers. One uses collagen pin pen with Vive exosomes and the other uses the skin pen with Benev exosomes. I cant decide. Any advice is appreciated. I know microneedling is operator dependent.

Wondering if even small pimples/clogged pores will spread infection. I'm not adding a photo because the pimples are very small they aren't showing up very well on my camera.

Hello doctors SkinPen rep recently advised on new protocol for acne scarring, which is to have patient needle every 2 weeks. We were using a 4 week protocol. The theory being it is to increase collagen production during the proliferative phase of wound healing. What are your expert opinions on this approach ?
