What's your opinion on professional microneedling at 2 week intervals?

Hello doctors SkinPen rep recently advised on new protocol for acne scarring, which is to have patient needle every 2 weeks. We were using a 4 week protocol. The theory being it is to increase collagen production during the proliferative phase of wound healing. What are your expert opinions on this approach ?

We would recommend that for acne scarring, a few different treatment modalities for optimal results. Skinpen treatments are scheduled every 4 weeks, and if too soon, we are not giving the body the adequate healing time to even repair and prepare for another treatment. We need to give the body time to build collage and elastin, so every 2 weeks is too frequent. Thanks!
