Hi and thank you for sharing your question! There is generally very little activity restrictions following lip augmentation and almost all patients would resume routine activity following filler injection in the lips. Nonetheless, avoiding strenuous activity within the next day or two is advisable to ensure there is no shift or unwanted exacerbation of swelling, etc. As a side note, use of tanning bed is generally discouraged as the UV rays are proven cause of skin cancer and they accelerate skin damaged and aging. If I want to give one advice to my patients on what to do to delay skin aging, it is to avoid and minimize exposure to UV - sun light and tanning beds. I hope it helps and good luck!
There's really no downtime after lip fillers. You may have a little bit of swelling or redness or bruising, but it shouldn't stop you from going outside or enjoying your normal activities. However, you should not sunbathe or use a tanning bed. UVA and UVB rays damage your skin and greatly increase your risk for skin cancer. Consulting with a board-certified dermatologist who is an expert in lip augmentation will get you the most beautiful and natural looking results.
Thank you for your question. You can go in the sun straight after lip filler, however please be aware of the dangers of sunbed and to always use sun protector if sunbathing. All The Best
Hello and thanks for this question. As long as you have little to no bruising, I believe laying out can be done almost immediately. Ask your injector after the procedure for their recommendations.Best wishes, Dr. ALDO :)
Thank you for your question. You should be able to go to a tanning bed immediately after the fillers. Keep in mind the important sun protective and anti-aging practices to preserve you youthful appearance. I suggest that you move forward and consult with a board certified facial plastic surgeon.Best wishes,
Sun exposure will not affect your lip filler. Sun exposure will burn and affect your lip skin and skin all over your body, increasing your chance of skin cancer. Lip, nose and ears are the most common location of skin cancers on the body. Tanning beds are over rater and are a great danger to public. I advice you get a spray tan. Always always apply sunblock and use a lip balm with a sunblock as well. at least SPF 30 and above. Best, Dr.Avaliani
Thank you for sharing your excellent question. If we overlook the inherent dangers of tanning you should be able to lay out the day following treatment. Be sure to keep your lips protected with a zinc or titanium sunblock. Hope this helps.
Thank you for your inquiry. Post lip fillers you should be able to return to your normal activity. However, if you experience extreme swelling, wait until it dissipates before you start tanning. Tanning while swollen can increase swelling and cause damage. Regards,
Thank you for your question. Most patients return to their normal activity after lip fillers. Remember to use sunscreen before going out in the sun and avoid tanning beds. Please make sure you seek treatment from a board-certified dermatologist.
Thank you for your excellent question. Fillers can typically be performed with little to no downtime, so you should be able to resume your normal activities right away. Check with your injector after the procedure for specific recommendations. Please be sure to wear appropriate sun protection to minimize signs of premature aging and the risk for skin cancer. Hope this helps and best wishes!
