How can I correct crooked lips? (Photo)

I have had very good success treating lip symmetry using
combinations of Botox, Fillers, and Skin tightening with lasers, micro needling
or radio frequency. Other options would be surgical and/or fat grafting. Be

Hi and thank you for sharing your question here! No face is completely symmetrical and we all have some levels of asymmetry in our face and body, including the lips. If the degree of asymmetry in the lips reaches a level that becomes an issue to the patient, it can be best corrected by a combination of Botox and fillers injected skillfully in and around the lips and mouth. For best results, it is very important to do this slowly and gradually and in small steps, to make sure there is no over-correction on one side which might exacerbate the issues. There are surgical lip lift options and non-surgical injectibles, including fillers and fat injections. We find a combination of treatments is successful as each patient needs a treatment tailor made for their unique face. I suggest that you move forward and consult with a board certified facial plastic surgeon.

Thank you for sharing your question and photograph.  I see your area of concern but each person has some underlying asymmetry to their face with a "long" and "short" side of the face.  In your case it appears that your left side (right in the picture) is the short side with some asymmetry seen in comparison to your right.  I do not think that any treatment will completely correct this. Hope this helps.

You have a few options. PDO Nova threads can be used to improve shape and provide lift. These fillers, (Volbella, Restylane, Juvederm) are good to create a symmetrical and full lip. Fat or implants are a permanent alternative. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. There are options to fixing asymmetry of the lips, both with surgical correction as well as fillers.  The best choice would be determined during a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon.  Because a plastic surgeon could provide either option, surgical or non-surgical, that would be the best option.

Thank you for your question. From your photos, it appears you already have a nice shape and fullness to your lips. However, you can have hyaluronic acid fillers to help improve symmetry. As HA fillers are not permanent you can have them dissolved with hyaluronidase if you are unhappy with the results. I recommend having a consultation with an expert to determine the best treatment plan for you. Best of Luck!

Great question - As we start to look more closely at our faces, we will note asymmetries - and the interesting fact is that we are all asymmetric in one way or another! From our eyebrows, eyes, cheeks, lips, to our chest/breast, hands, and even feet! Also, when volume is added to an area, any baseline asymmetry present actually becomes more obvious.  Also, sometimes these asymmetries are accentuated with movement (i.e. smiling), thus I am glad to hear that you note your lips actually looks MORE symmetrical when smiling. 
A small amount of filler can be used to alter shape (and not add too much volume) to better match the other side. However, often I have found that I when I make one side more symmetric to the other side, the patients are not used to seeing themselves that way. The nice thing with most fillers is that a)they are reversible and b) they are not permanent so it may just take another try with a thinner filler, such as Juvederm Volbella with a board-certified core specialty doctor (plastic surgery, facial ENT, or dermatology). Likely it is related to facial anatomical asymmetry at a deeper level.  Not likely to improve with just fillers.
