Once the grafts have " taken " meaning they have early blood supply and adherence, activity levels can approach normal. Covering the grafted areas should never be done! I never place any dressing over the grafts and the dressing over the donor area omes off the next day
Every doctor has their own preference and post-op regimen. This includes wearing a bandage head dressing, bandana, or hats. You will end up with many opinions and rightful reasons for each. The only right answer is what your doctor recommends. Not because it is absolute or "right", but it is what your doctor wants you to do to have a successful outcome from his/her point of view and experience. After all you trusted your doctor to perform your surgery, you should trust your doctors post-op instructions. If you don't follow your doctor's instructions, then it is partly your fault if you don't get the results he promised.
Absolutely it is not necessary. In fact it could cause more problems than any real benefit. In my experience I find the main reason patients want to wear a cap or bandana is to hide the fact that they underwent a procedure if they must be in public or return to work. I recommend wearing a " trucker " cap from blocking the sun or heavy wind it necessary. It's important not to put any tension or traction or stress to newly transplanted follicles so patients must be careful what they wear and be properly instructed in your postoperative instructions. After approximately two weeks the need for a cover-up becomes less and less and hopefully the whole idea is to avoid wearing a cap or bandana at all !
It is not necessary to wear a cap and bandana one month after a hair transplant. It's fine if you want to, but you don't need to.
Generally, after about one week following hair restoration surgery the grafts are not going to fall out. By 1-2 weeks any crusting on the grafts has resolved and most people aren't concerned about covering up the area. At the same time you don't want a hat, bandana, helmet rubbing on your grafts, especially in the period following surgery. Hats, caps, bandanas rubbing on non-transplanted hair isn't so good either so just make sure the head gear fits well. One other point don't let the grafts get sunburned so keep 'em covered outdoors especially till they have had a chance to grow out. Best option... talk to the doctor who performed the procedure. He/she wants to make sure everything goes well too.
Wearing a hat or bandana is not necessary post transplant but certainly can be used provides it is put on and taken off properly. It must never rub or tug any grafts as this could injure or worse yet - pull out grafts that are healing A hat is great to use to hide any scabs.
After a hair transplant, other than exposure to a hot sun, you need not wear any headgear. Some people feel more secure if they still have crusts on their head, but with good washing (see below in the web-reference0) there should be nothing to see in a few days.
You will not need to wear a bandana or a hat to protect your new grafts one month after transplant. However if it provides some sun protection to your scalp that may be of benefit to you.
we usually put a very light bandage on for a couple of nights after the procedure. After that is is not necessary to wear a bandage or a cap. Sometimes clients choose to wear a cap for the first couple of weeks to hide the scabs. But it is not necessary.

The cost per graft varies on the technique and whether it is extracted via follicular unit extraction (FUE) versus follicular unit transplantation (FUT). FUE being a more delicate and intricate surgery the costs tend to be a bit more than the FUT technique. The number of grafts...
For many years, the standard therapy in the hair loss industry has been hair transplant. Unfortunately, it is never advisable for someone in their early 20s to get a hair transplant. The simple reason is when you are losing hair as quickly as you are, there aren’t enough hairs to cover the a...
