Answer: Any will do but.. Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) is a great detergent that foams up, emulsify, and cleans away dirt. It makes for a great ingredient in many shampoos. There is nothing wrong with SLS. It is cheap and it works great. In the modern holistic, organic, Whole-Foods culture, with the help of the advertising media, SLS is out of flavor for a natural (more expensive) alternative. To be fair, SLS is an irritant. That's why if you get shampoo in your eyes, it burns. It can be harsh on some types of skin/scalp. So in THEORY, you may hear doctors recommend shampoos that do not contain SLS.In PRACTICE, it really will not affect your hair grafts (unless you have some rare reaction to SLS). But you would have known this already assuming you've been washing your hair regularly since birth. NOTE: Popular "hair growth" or "hair health" shampoos such as Nizoral all have SLS as their ingredient. Finally, ask your doctor and follow your doctor's post operative instructions.

Answer: Shampoos and hair transplants There is no correct answer to your question. Every hair transplant surgeon will have their own preferences with regards to what shampoos you can use after a hair transplant and when you should start cleansing your scalp after a hair transplant. It is always a good idea to ask the doctor who did your procedure what their preference is, and to follow their instructions. After all, you trusted them to do your surgery - why wouldn't you trust their opinion on the aftercare?

Answer: Shampoo after a hair transplant Any good quality shampoo will work well, but it is cheap shampoos that have ingredients that are not necessarily safe after a hair transplant. The good companies that make these shampoos don't buy the ingredients from China, they design the ingredients for safety and effectiveness and price in the drug store along with good named companies helps in picking the right shampoo.
