Should I be concerned about these pulsations I'm having at my belly button? I am 15 wks post lipo/abdominoplasty.

I Still experience a lot of swelling I wear my CG almost all the time. I am now starting to feel these hard pulsating sensations at my bellybutton. I swear it feels just like a baby kicking me LOL. At times I can actually visualize my skin moving to the pulsations. It's driving me nuts because it's almost constant. I am wondering if I should be concerned? I am experiencing no other symptoms at this time just the pulsations.

Thank you for your pictures. Wow, it looks like he had suffered from some skin loss but it seems to be improving. I would recommend debridement of the dark areas to get down to healthy tissue to allow for quicker resolution.

If you could have someone with you for a week, that would be best.  You need someone to help you around, drive you, help you take care of your home.  2-3 days would be fine, but a week would be ideal.

I often will do these two procedures at the same time.  If you have had your TT already, I would suggest waiting until you feel physically ready.  4 weeks would be an ample amount of time.  Most patients could have the surgery sooner.

Mucinex should be safe to take after your TT.  However, I would not take this in conjunction with any pain medication you have been prescribed, as it may cause problems.  Please discuss this with your surgeon or his office who can best advise you as they know the medications you are on.
