I had a revision surgery 6 weeks ago to remove scar tissue left after the first surgery. The incision is healed and I have no pain, but I can tell I still have some swelling, and some hardness/lumpiness. I was told by my surgeon I could lift after 6 weeks, but I'm just wondering if, with the swelling and lumps, if it's still ok to lift. I know the swelling is not due to fluid because I had a seroma with my previous surgery, so I know how to tell the difference between fluid and regular swelling.

Thanks for the question. After 1-2 months your surgery area is totally healed and yes you can walk and also do other sport activities. I wish you all the best.
Without pictures and without knowing what kind of gynecomastia surgery you had, it is not possible to give you any specific information. You should get an appointment to see your surgeon promptly and address your concerns to him/her.
I would wait at least 6 months post-gynocomastia to advise patients if they will require more surgery or not. In certain cases if the operation was very extensive, I might extend this waiting time to 12 months, so I would advise you to be patient and reassess the situation in 6 months time.
