What happens if a columellar strut is removed?

In my primary the doctor added a columellar strut graft in my tip without discussing with me, it's incredibly annoying and my tip didn't need lifting. Now my tip is overprojected and too lifted. What would happen if I remove the columellar strut in a revision? Can it be removed?
