Is it still possible for me to have a breast reduction after having an abortion?

If your abortion was uncomplicated, I believe you can undergo your breast reduction. Before you undergo your breast reduction procedure, it is important for you to notify your plastic surgeon that you had an abortion. It is important that they know and realize this before they start the surgery. If you did not notice any change in the size of your breasts during the pregnancy, I do not see any reason why you cannot undergo a breast reduction after an abortion. It may be wise to get some blood tests just to be sure that there is nothing abnormal after your abortion. However, in general, you can undergo a breast reduction after an abortion. Good luck. You should be able to have the reduction since you were very early in the pregnancy. However, your urine pregnancy test will need to be negative. An abortion is not the best birth control method.

If you haven't had any changes to your overall health since your procedure then it should be fine to proceed with your breast reduction. Make sure you also go over this with your surgical team.
