Feeling a bump on septal cartilage.

Question

I had my cast taken off 12 days post-op (septorhinoplasty) and I am feeling (almost not visible) a small bump right where the bone meets the septal cartilage. Feels like there is a tiny space between the nasal bone and septal cartilage. The bump seems to be on the cartilage... Is this normal?

At only a few weeks from surgery, it is almost impossible to tell what you are feeling. Usually at this point, the swelling leads to some asymmetries and abnormal sensations, but will likely improve with time. I would recommend just continued conversation and follow up with your surgeon to address your concerns. Either way, give it time. Best of luck
