I had a TT and a breast lift on June 29th 2021. I had an upper abdominal fat roll even before the procedure, and I knew that there was a chance of it not being completely removed, but it’s very visible. I know that I have poor skin laxity and my skin did sag a little after the procedure, but I feel like there’s a lot of skin still. What can be done to remove the upper abdominal roll? Also, can a TT be turned into an FDL by only adding a vertical incision or would the whole TT have to be redone?

Thank you for your question. To provide a valid medical opinion I will need to see pictures of you body from different angles. I would suggest to be treated by board certified plastic surgeon with experience in this procedure, to get the best desired results.

It may not be possible to completely remove the vertical scar with your tummy tuck. This generally does not cause additional problems but can increase wound healing time.
This sensation is normal. Muscle repair with tummy tuck causes the tight feeling and may last for quite some time. It does tend to normalize eventually.
