You should definitely see your surgeon to discuss your concerns, as these symptoms don’t sound normal. You shouldn’t be feeling so much tightness that it causes discomfort and a burning sensation.

An evaluation is needed to help diagnose your concerns. Is this a new issue or has it always been like this? I encourage you to return to your surgeon for an examination and discussion of your concerns. The symptoms you described are not typical.

It’s a little hard to make an assessment without seeing before and after pictures.

A tummy tuck is a major procedure that permanently changes someone’s abdominal wall.

It can leave people with new body sensations that were not present before the procedure. Most of these diminish with time and patience get used to that changes as being normal with enough time.

Typically aggressive surgical approaches can give some of the very best and most dramatic results but there are limits and perhaps in an attempt to get the best result your surgeon pull things a little too tight.

There probably isn’t much that can be done surgically to loosen things up other than giving things more time and doing stretching exercises.
