Hi, I had an asymmetry going into surgery. I am 5’2, 116 pounds and got 400CC / 475CC. Not in love with the shape of them right now. Question: I know the right side still needs to drop. But in your opinion, does the left side also need to drop? And what can I expect a year or two from now. How can I speed up the process? Thank you.
Answer: Breast augmentation revision At 6 months I do not think your implants are going to drop by themselves. Overall your implants are a bit large for your frame. Your right side needs to be lowered surgically for sure. I would probably recommend lowering your left side a small amount also. Discuss with your surgeon. Good luck.

Answer: Both implants needs to go down There will be a change in appearance up to 1 year after surgery, but there will be no significant change after 2 years. It seems that both the left and right implants need to go down a little (of course, the right should go down more). Wearing an elastic strap on the upper chest will help the implant to go down and the lower pole to expand. Also, medications that soften the capsule (e.g. singular) can help improve the shape, and a massage that pushes the implant down by hand pressing the upper chest down may also help.

Answer: 6 months post op: do my breasts still need to drop more, and what can I expect? (Photo) Thank you for sharing your question and photographs. Only time will tell but it appears you may require a revision to your right breast, and possible left, as it does not appear that the tissues have had the opportunity to fully settle/stretch.

Answer: Implant dropping Dear Montreal21, dropping of implants is part of the healing process and this occurs after the tissues surrounding the implants slowly relax, allowing the implants to settle into their final position. It can take about four to six months for the implant to drop down to their final position.I understand that you are worried about your implants are not dropping as expected. However, you are still in the early phase of the recovery period. Please do allow some time for the healing process to occur. If after six months, you are not satisfied with the appearance of your breast, you can visit your plastic surgeon and discuss your concerns.
