Hi, I had an asymmetry going into surgery. I am 5’2, 116 pounds and got 400CC / 475CC. Not in love with the shape of them right now. Question: I know the right side still needs to drop. But in your opinion, does the left side also need to drop? And what can I expect a year or two from now. How can I speed up the process? Thank you.

Answer: 6 months post op: do my breasts still need to drop more, and what can I expect? (Photo) Thank you for sharing your question and photographs. Only time will tell but it appears you may require a revision to your right breast, and possible left, as it does not appear that the tissues have had the opportunity to fully settle/stretch.

Answer: Implant dropping Dear Montreal21, dropping of implants is part of the healing process and this occurs after the tissues surrounding the implants slowly relax, allowing the implants to settle into their final position. It can take about four to six months for the implant to drop down to their final position.I understand that you are worried about your implants are not dropping as expected. However, you are still in the early phase of the recovery period. Please do allow some time for the healing process to occur. If after six months, you are not satisfied with the appearance of your breast, you can visit your plastic surgeon and discuss your concerns.
