3 weeks post-op. Is something wrong with my belly button? It recently started leaking fluid, but doesn't hurt. (photos)

Hello, thank you for your inquiry, congrats on your surgery! I suggest seeing your plastic surgeon for examination and also determine if you need to take antibiotic to avoid infection. Also make sure you clean daily and remain air dry to help heal faster and if antibiotic is needed to avoid infection. Best of luck!

Thank you for sharing your question and photographs.  It appears that your belly button is having some healing issues and since this has been a change in your recovery I would recommend seeing your surgeon for an in-person evaluation.

It is best for you to contact your surgeon for an appointment.  He/She will need to examine you to rule out an infection or wound healing issues.

Belly buttons go through a far amount of trauma during tummy tucks. Sometime the circulation is a little low or skin swells tight resulting is slow healing. With time it will heal on its own.
