I stopped wearing a compression garment at 5 weeks post op TT, MR, and lipo to flanks. I then wore it randomly until weaning myself fully off the garment at 6 weeks. I'm not 7 weeks post op and the swelling isn't horrible, but I feel it doesn't really go away 100%. I've read of others wearing their garments months after, could I have ruined my "flat" results by weaning my body off the compression too early? Will this be my final results or do I have more healing to do?

Hello. Great question. Thank you for your images. Your surgeon is correct by wanting to wait a few more weeks even months to examine your final results. You are still early in your recovery. Swelling may take up to six months to go down. Be patient. Keep following up with your surgeon. Good ...
As your only symptom is the area heating up and you do not have a fever or any other signs of infection, what you are experiencing is likely a part of the healing process. However it is always best to discuss any concerns with your surgeon just to be sure.
