Thank you for sharing your question. Medical treatments that have potential risks and side effects should only be performed by experienced, well-trained physicians with expertise in the procedure being performed. I hope this helps.Good luck,
Thank you for your question. That is an interesting question. Perhaps a little more research regarding your injector is in order. You will want to ensure whoever is injecting your face is highly skilled and experienced. Best,
Thank you for your excellent question. Chiropractors are not allowed to perform Botox and dermal filler placement, but you can contact your state medical board to confirm. Hope this helps.
Whether legal or not, I believe that only "core" injectors (facial plastic surgeon, plastic surgeon, dermatologist, or occuloplastic surgeon) should be administering cosmetic Injectables. This is because we all have a keen understanding of facial anatomy and the effects of injecting Botox and fillers in different regions of the face. Additionally, if a complication were to occur, your would want to be under the care and guidance of a core injector as opposed to someone who may be ignorant to the potential dangers involved.
Thanks for your interesting question. First of all, chiropractors are not physicians, they are chiropractors. Secondly, whether they are able to inject or not is irrelevant. When choosing your injector you should look for a physician who studied cosmetic medicine in their their residency, i.e. it should be core training. This would include dermatologists and plastic surgeons.
Thank you for your question. As always, I recommend that you get treated by a well-trained and experienced dermatologist or plastic surgeon. Best, Dr. Frucht.
As far as I know they are not licensed to inject Botox but to be sure simply contact state board of health and ask
I'm not sure why anyone would consider going to a chiropractor for Botox or filler injections. That would be like someone with back pain seeking care from a dermatologist. Doesn't make a lot of sense. Regards,Dr. Ort
Botox is by prescription only and chiropractors are not allow to write prescriptions for drugs. I would recommend contacting your state's medical board and ask them to clarify their position on this matter.
Thank you for your question. As far as I am aware there is no state in the country that allows Chiropractors to inject Botox/Fillers. You may wish to contact AmSpa as they typically have the most up-to-date info on who can and cannot inject. Regards, Dr. Matt Elias
Thank you for your question. You should not be experiencing muscle soreness at a month and a half after the treatment. Consider scheduling a follow up with your injector to discuss your concerns. Best,
Without seeing a photo or personally evaluating you, it’s difficult to say for sure if BOTOX® is the ideal solution for your concerns. However, based on your description of how the dimples deepen as a result of facial expressions and movement of facial muscles, BOTOX® would likely help. BOT...
I often use a combination approach to treat this area. I suggest you see an expert in skin tightening and lasers to get improvement. Best, Dr. Emer.
Thank you for this question. I am sorry you are experiencing this. Hard, red and painful lumps one week after Botox injections is not normal. An in person exam would certainly be useful. I recommend you follow up with your injecting physician.
