I had Masseter Botox for the first time to face slim and help with teeth grinding. I'm not sure how many units. It has been about a month and a half since then, and my jaw muscles have been so sore that I cannot open my mouth wide and hurts to chew. I'm not sure if it means the Botox is wearing off maybe?

Thank you for your question. Botox injections cannot be reversed, however, they are temporary. The injection can last 3 to 4 months and then your smile will start to look like it did before.
