Can Botox help with dimpled areas just over the brow that make me look angry?

Hi Mushigaga.  Without a photo it's hard to say for certain, but based on what you are describing, it's likely that Botox, Dysport or Xeomin would help with the concern.  Best bet is to schedule a consultation with an experienced injector or provide a photo on realself.  You can also check the photos below to see if any match your situation. These patients were all treated with Dysport, which is the competitor to Botox.

Without pictures or a direct exam it is difficult to give you an answer, but as a general concept, if the areas become thicker when you make a particular facial expression, they could respond well to treatment with Botox.  When you do have a consultation, make the expression that creates the dimpled areas so that whoever treats you can treat your area of concern, not just what they think might be your area of concern.

Botox would definitely help your dimpled vertical lines.  As you've noted yourself they get deeper with a frown and botox works by weakening the muscles and stopping that movement.  Most patients that continue botox over time will experience remodeling of these lines so that they become much less noticeable.
