Thank you for your question. As long as it's okay with your doctor, there is no reason why you can't have Kybella days after your procedure.
Dear tanyya341,Kybella typically takes 3 to 5 treatments to work. This is why I've stopped carrying Kybella in my office. I recommend neck liposuction more often then any injectable procedure for the neck now. It provides superior results gives me more control over the area than any injectable. It also costs about the same as what you paid for your first kybella session. The liposuction can be done under local while awake in the office and recovery is about the same as kybella.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
As long as you donot have any kind of complication from the removal of your wisdom teeth like excessive swelling affecting your submental area or an infection you should have no problems getting Kybella.
Hello, since other physicians have addressed the issue of your teeth so I just bring up the choice of Kybella. For double chin and neck, I tend to see liposuction as better option for neck and double chin. 1- majority of people the fat excess is not just limited to under the chin. So I prefer liposuction over Kybella in majority of cases because Kybella can not handle jawline contouring.2- after Liposuction you would see immediate results. You need to wear the garment for a months or so when you are at home or at night. Kybella is a slow process and requires 3-4 sessions over 4-6 months. 3- Pricing contrary to what most people think, liposuction is one time cost but Kybella depends on number of sessions, and average 3-4 treatments. make a calculation based on whole treatment package. All the bestRay Bayati, MD
Once your swelling is gone from your dental procedure you are perfectly fine to do Kybella and enjoy the benefits of looking younger and better!
Liposuction more than likely will remove more fat, give you a smoother result versus the others and probably a quicker recovery versus Kybella. Kybella injections dissolves fat but initially you swell up and you may develop some temporary knots underneath your chin. This procedure needs to be ...
There’s no reason not to have Kybella injections after liposuction — particularly if it’s been 10 years, since not 100 percent of all fat cells are removed with liposuction. However, it looks like you have a lot of looseness. I’d suggest ThermiTight, which removes fat and tightens skin more th...
I do not recommend Kybella for the lower face and jawline. It is not FDA-approved for this usage, and studies have shown risks of nerve injury when used in these areas. Kybella is indicated for the submental area only - the area under the chin in the central part of the neck. An alternative is ...
