Attached photo has less swelling (4th day) but still numb is areas and bruised

Healing can be variable and it can take several weeks for numbness and/or swelling to resolve. Keep in mind, a combination approach is needed to get the most improvement with non-invasive options like Kybella and some people need a series of treatments. I recommend Kybella with thermage, ultherapy, exilis. VASER liposuction in combination with ThermiRF is a great alternative for contouring the chin, if you're a candidate. Numbness after Kybella may last for several weeks. Most patients may need 2-3 treatments typically 8 weeks apart. Swelling after the treatment may take up to 8 weeks to subside.

Hello mimi718,After Kybella there typically is numbness to the touch for about 4-6 weeks.  It does resolve.  As far as results it takes about the same time period to start seeing anything, but it usually takes from 2-4 treatments to truly see a result.I hope this helps and good luck.

Unfortunately even if Kybella is effective, numbing may be prolonged for weeks. It does not have any untoward effects on your results. Like CoolSculpting, results are not visible immediately. Expect to see results by the 25th day.
