Kybella swelling typically occurs immediately after the treatment, however, some patients will experience some tender lumps or bumps, the lumps that you are noticing are the destroyed fat cells that have clustered together. After 4- 6 weeks, your body will eliminate and continue to melt away the lumps of fat. It is important to be patient with the area and contact your provider if you have any questions or concerns.

By now most lumps should be gone or nearly gone. Some can persist beyond 2 months but again, should be better. Without actually seeing or doing an exam it is difficult to know why it is persisting. Easy massage can help. You should return to the provider who did the procedure and see what they say. IF it stays the same or if it gets worse you should see your provider right away.
