I'm 21 days post op and I'm worried Because I feel like I'm too small!! Are they ever gone drop?! They look odd and I feel flat instead of round if that makes any sense. I just feel like I have no cleavage or anything :/ I'm 5ft 1in and 150 lbs - please tell me they are going to drop and "fluff" soon!
Answer: When will Implants Drop Your #healing will continue for 2-3 months for the early period. This includes some swelling, bruising, malposition, color differences. Sensation may also be abnormal and scars will be evolve. Your doctor may require you to move or #massage the #implants within the breast pockets during the postoperative period. Textured implants do not require breast massage. You will be informed about this at your post-operative visit. Also, the two breasts commonly heal quite differently. One #breast may swell more, feel more uncomfortable, or have a different initial shape. After complete #healing, they will be more similar and natural. You must have patience, but if this causes concern, ask questions of the doctor or the nursing staff.

Answer: They should settle Implants will settle over the first 3 months after surgery. In patients like you who have a small amount of breast droop preoperatively, I use a dual plane technique, where the implant pushes more on the gland to fill it out. It looks like your doctor did total sub muscular, which tends to trap the implant high. Regardless, do your best to be patient. Yes implants will drop and fluff. After 3 months if they haven't settled with a bra band and massage, you can then consider other interventions, but it's way to early now.

Answer: Breast Implants / Breast Augmentation/ Cohesive Gel Implants / Silicone Implants / Revision Breast Surgery I appreciate your question. Right now, you are very early on in the post op recovery period. It will take 3-6 months for you to feel comfortable having implants in your body and for them to settle. This time allows for you to physically and psychologically adapt to your new body image. There are many variables that contribute to a breast augmentation's final result. Preop size and shape, IMF location, location of the implants and type of implant. Patients heal at different rates and each breast will sometimes heal at a different rate. Rest, relax, recover and heal. Please Express your concerns to your surgeon so he/she can examine you at this time. Then reassess final result at 6 months. The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative breast surgery. Best of luck! Answer: Are my 450cc HP's ever going to drop? Thank you for your question and photograph. After placement of implants, the overall appearance of the breasts will change dramatically over the next several months, as the implants drop, and the overlying tissue stretches to accommodate the extra volume. In your case the swelling from surgery is flattening your implants and holding them high on your chest. I know waiting is difficult, but initially dropping usually takes between 6-8 weeks with final results at 4-6 months after surgery. Hope this helps.

Answer: Drop and fluff At 3 weeks postop you will most likely still undergo some significant changes. Depending on what kind of implant you have your surgeon may recommend breast massage. At this point I would recommend you continue to follow your surgeon's instructions
