They look great. Your breasts are situated low on your chest. This is what some docs call the "breast footprint". When your breast and nipple are low, this isn't a drooping breast, just a low breast footprint. You can have larger and higher profile implants placed in order to get a more augmented look. The symmetry is pretty great and I think your surgeon did a fine job, especially at 2 weeks. The other option is to maximally tighten the skin envelope, which would require scars on the breast and a breast lift, which i really wouldn't recommend.
Hello dear, thanks for your post and provided information as well. Patience is one of the most important factors in achieving the best results in cosmetic surgery. We all want to see the final result as early as possible. Unfortunately, the healing process is complicated and takes time. The surest way to get a poor result is to undergo revision surgery before your body is ready for additional surgery.Breast augmentations take about six months for the swelling to go down and the breasts to settle and assume their final size and shape. When we do a breast enlargement, surgeons try to center the implant behind the nipple. Minor position adjustments can be accomplished to account for the normal asymmetry that most women have. If the breasts are different sizes, saline implants can be adjusted to achieve better symmetry. Please wait until six months post op and then return to your original surgeon. Minor asymmetry is normal. Too vigorous surgical approaches may result in more expense, more scarring, and new complications.Good luck :)
Implants have to be placed behind the nipple, otherwise if they are placed high the nipples will point down. A breast lift will give you a better shape. Implants are just fillers. They take what you have and make it larger.
Good afternoon!Great question- and the answer is you can go over your BWD as much as the gap between your breasts will allow. Some patients have 3cm between their breasts, so to maintain a nice 1 cm gap they can go over their BWD by 1cm on each side, which will take their gap from 3 cm down to...
At 3 weeks postop you will most likely still undergo some significant changes. Depending on what kind of implant you have your surgeon may recommend breast massage. At this point I would recommend you continue to follow your surgeon's instructions
Thank you for your question. Breast implants themselves do not cause costochondritis, though surgery initially to place them may. It appears that you did well for a year before your symptoms developed and I would hazard something else may have caused your discomfort, such as a t...
