550 HP vs 700 UHP -- I'm worried that I won't be satisfied with 550cc, any suggestions?

In agreement with you, based on your own body pix and stats, your "dream" pix," and other submitted information, Ultra-High profile 700ml devices, well prepared for and placed, will more closely approximate your desired outcome.  There will be a six to twelve month period of skin and soft tissue expansion to accommodate such implants, during which time your breasts will not look like "dream" pix, but will be swollen, firm, and poorly defined.  Eventually however, if all goes well, they'll appear robust and feel more soft and natural.

It is very difficult without assessing you in person to know if the implant size and profile you mentioned will be a good size for you. Keep in mind that implant size selection not only depends on your personal preference, but it also depends on your unique measurements which can limit the implant size selected for you. There are various types of implants that can help you attain the look you are going for. A thorough consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon will allow you to communicate what your desired result is and will inform you as to what is possible to achieve your goals. I would caution the use of large volume and large diameter implants in your case - the distance from your infra-mammary fold to nipple looks quite short. Using a larger diameter implant may create problems with infra-mammary fold position. 

While implant size is a personal decision which is ultimately the patient's choice, there are limits to what can be safely accomplished(in a single procedure). A 700 cc implant is significant (800 cc is the max) and is likely much more than your envelope can accommodate in a single stage. The complication rate post augmentation increases with increased size. You might consider a smaller device to start with and allow for tissue expansion to accommodate your desired final implant.As always, discuss your concerns with a board certified plastic surgeon (ABPS).

Your surgeon has examined you and is likely recommending that size based on your breast measurements and skin stretch. The dream photos you attached may not be realistic for your body but you are probably right in that eventually you will want a larger implant. To make sure that you have the right breast implant size, I strongly recommend that you use sizers and 3-dimensional pre-op imaging to pick your size.  If you have done this, and you would like a 700 cc implant and your surgeon does not agree with you, I recommend getting a second opinion.  The number one complaint after breast augmentation is size dissatisfaction.  You and your surgeon need to be on the same page.  

700 cc's of gigantic implant and it is difficult to say without examining you, if your skin can stretch out that much and just one procedure.  The risks of complications if your skin is tight and you try to go that big are not insignificant.Best of luck!

Hard to answer this question without an in person exam and specific breast measurements (and not just your height/weight and breast width!). Remember also that there is no direct correlation between implant size (cc's) and cup size. Best option is to choose a board certified plastic surgeon who actually takes the time to measure you and examine your breast pocket. Sizers will only give you a rough estimate. The goal of breast augmentation is to optimally fill your breast pocket, not to overstuff or understuff it. At my practice, we utilize a series of 5 breast measurements that help me determine the ideal implant size, which in turn helps me deliver a 24 hour recovery. Do your research and choose a surgeon who takes the time to sit down with you and discuss your goals/expectations to determine the best size for you. Good luck!!

best advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation. 700cc UHP is a very large implant.  The size, profile, and shape of
the implant is based on your desired breast size/shape, your chest wall
measurements, and soft tissue quality.  This decision should
be based on a detailed discussion with equal input from both you
and your surgeon.

Dear amazamazon,Determining the ideal breast size and matching that goal for the patient is the most difficult part of breast augmentation. It starts and ends with the patient. We have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements. Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If its too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match. Of all of my breast augmentation patients, everyone of them have been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process.
