Hi, I had a bbl back in July of 2012. I’ve noticed that my butt now looks uneven and oddly square-shaped. I think that too much fat was injected and over time, it has started to sag. Is there anything that can be done to just have a normal looking butt? Can I just remove it? I think shaping is needed but I’m not sure how to correct? Could the look improve with just exercise? Help! - I just want to look normal in a swimsuit
Answer: BBl Revision and correction Thank you for your question. Based on your photographs there is certainly some unevenness and some contour issues with your procedure. I would recommend a careful sculpting of the area using a non surgical skin tightening procedure along with some autologous fat transfer to some other areas to both address the areas of sagging and recontouring. Please talk to your surgeon or find a Board Certified surgeon near you, who is experienced in these procedures, to examine you and help you with all your concerns. All the best!

Answer: Considering a BBL revision You are in good company with many others who had high hopes for BBL but instead received disappointing results (lumpiness, unevenness, lack of projection in the central and/or lower buttock, post-deflation sagging, etc.) as most of the fat melts away. It is not quite as much the quality of the doctor nor liposuction technique but rather the quality of the procedure that is a large part of the problem. Thus, going back for round 2 BBL most often produces the same disappointing results but at another financial loss. Buttock implants indeed provide a more reliable, predictable, relatively safe, and permanent result, especially for adding projection to the buttock and often smoothing out lumpiness. Occasionally a lower buttock tuck may be advantageous for lower buttock fold asymmetries and/or sagging. Please keep in mind that an extremely few number of board-certified plastic surgeons specialize in buttock implants so be sure to consult with one that is reputable and experienced. Unfortunately you may have to travel long and far away from home to find this particular surgeon. Glad to help.

Answer: BBL revision Dear MyResoLuti0n, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: BBL revision needed for you Your BBL was poorly performed since the lateral hips or mid but was not filled out and your lower lateral butttock was filled instead. You should consider a virtual consultation with a BBL revision surgeon to appreciate wat needs to be done.
