I had a bbl. 9 months ago. I have a flat spot on my right side and i have terrible rippling on my left butt cheek.. So i wanted to know if. I get revision can they just fill out the rippling and flat spot so it looks smoother??
Answer: BBL Hi, thank you for sharing your question. Additional fat grafting during a revision BBL may be able to smoothen these depressed areas but an in person exam would better determine if it’s possible.

Answer: Considering round two BBL? You are in good company with many others who had high hopes for BBL but instead received disappointing results (lumpiness, unevenness, lack of projection in the central and/or lower buttock, post-deflation sagging, etc.) as most of the fat melts away. It is not quite as much the quality of the doctor nor liposuction technique but rather the quality of the procedure that is a large part of the problem. Thus, going back for round 2 BBL most often produces the same disappointing results but at another financial loss. Buttock implants indeed provide a more reliable, predictable, relatively safe, and permanent result, especially for adding projection to the buttock and often smoothing out lumpiness. Occasionally a lower buttock tuck may be advantageous for lower buttock fold asymmetries and/or sagging. Please keep in mind that an extremely few number of board-certified plastic surgeons specialize in buttock implants so be sure to consult with one that is reputable and experienced. Unfortunately you may have to travel long and far away from home to find this particular surgeon. Glad to help.

Answer: BBL results Dear Fearless3783, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: 9 months post-op - If I get a revision, would they be able to fill out the rippling and flat spot so it looks smoother? Though the 2 posted photos are not very helpful, you can have redo BBL. Best to virtual consult with.... Need better photos of all views. Fees are usually in the $7,900 ranges because of the new required ultrasound guided injections required by Florida Board of Medicine. This has added extra fees of approx. $1,600. If you need only 2 areas refilled with fat then minor lipo of under 1 liter with re injection of the fat under ultrasound guided monitoring fee $5,800. Again best to virtual consult....

Answer: Revision BBL Preoperative photos would have helped seeing where you started from. I feel a revision BBL should help smooth out your results. If the rippling is from bands, some may be released but not all or you end up with a outward pouching of fat. Dr. Taranow
