I’ve had an indentation on my right buttocks since I noticed when I hit puberty. Ive had a consultation for cellfina but I decided to have a BBL instead. The doc Who did my consultation have been due to a fall when I was a kid and she said a BBL would be better. I got my BBL done two months ago but I have not noticed Any difference in growth to the area and it’s very noticeable it looks very flat from the side. Will the fat start to grow in that area or should I start looking into a round 2 BBL?
Answer: BBL results Dear Energetic9314, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: Will my indentation after BBL go away, or do I need to get it corrected with a revision? Thanks for the posted photos. Appears either the chosen surgeon did not understand how to correct traumatic and genetic dents in buttocks or not enough fat was placed. I recommend 2 stages of surgery now. Stage I: Relipo with more superficial fat injected into dented areas after pickle fork release of these dents. Might also adde Sculptra injections vials in a combination. Must use ultrasound guided injections and removals by state rules. Fees $12,000. StageII: if needed more vials of scultra or local sub cision if needed. Best to virtual consult with...

Answer: Definitive correction for your buttock indentations In order to correct your buttock shape (make it rounder) and fix your buttock dimples you will have to consider a lateral thigh and buttock tuck. Please consider a virtual consultation with a revision BBL specialist so that you can be shown the definitive correction that this will have on you.

Answer: BBL result There are quite a few things brought up with your post. First and foremost whenever asking to assess the outcome of a surgical procedure patients need to always include before and after pictures. If you don’t have your before and after pictures then ask your surgeon to forward the ones they took. Perhaps they haven’t taken after pictures yet but they did take before pictures. They are part of your medical record and you can just ask them and they will forward them to you. When posting on real self always show before and after pictures from all angles. Cellulite is not treated with fat transfer and if anything fat transfer makes cellulite worse. Cellulite is not based on lacking volume but instead is caused by connective tissue pulling down on the skin. We’re adding volume the pulldown areas will still be pulled down while the other surrounding areas will expand making the cellulite worse. Judging on your after picture I question if you were a good candidate for a BBL in the first place because of a number of reasons. Doing a second BBL is most likely simply going to make things worse. I also don’t think your BBL was well done. The transition of your buttocks to your hips and thighs is abrupt and does not blend well at all. It caused the natural S curve that should be there to be distorted or eliminated. did your provider do liposuction of your outer thigh? I see this a lot and it is in my opinion a mistake that causes a very unnatural appearance I called the “lollipop butt” look. Cellulite is difficult to treat but the mainstay of treatment is Subsicion and that can be done with or without Celfina. Typically cellulite is made worse from fat transfer. some people who have cellulite also have a flat spot on the lower inner buttocks. Individuals who have that tend to not be good candidates for the BBL because the flat spot is often made worse rather than better from fat transfer. The flat spot is usually because of the same connective tissue that causes cellulite. This connective tissue pulls the skin in towards the underlying muscle fascia and they are you will not project because of the connective tissue. The best analogy I can give you to explain how connective tissue can limit projection is by examining your own hand. If you pinch and lift up the skin on the back of your hand you’ll notice that the skin is loose and it’s easy to tent up and lift up. If you’re not try that in your mid poem you’ll recognize the skin is stuck and will not lift up, tent up or project no matter how you pull on it. The area of the buttocks that has cellulite or a flat spot is like the center of your palm. No matter how much fat is grafted they are will not project however the surrounding areas that don’t have the connective tissue relax like the back of your hand and project nicely which makes the cellulite and the flat spot worse. Some providers understand these concepts and some do not. Some providers have enough experience to have learned when these procedures work and when they don’t as well as how to deliver consistent quality attractive outcomes. Delivering quality results with Liposuction and fat transfer is more difficult than most people believe. To get quality assessments with a clear understanding of what can and cannot be achieved as well as quality outcomes patients need to focus substantial efforts into finding the most talented an experienced provider in their community. I recommend patients do this by having multiple in person consultations at which time you should ask each provider to show the entire collection of before and after pictures for the procedure you’re interested in. simply seeing a handful of pre-selected pictures which most likely represents the best results of their career is insufficient to get a clear understanding of what average results look like in the hands of that provider. patients should also ask providers to show us many before and after pictures of patients with similar body characteristics to their own. Highly experienced providers well I’ve done the procedures and patients just like you lots of times in the past and should be able to pull up lots of pictures of patients who look very similar to what you do. add an absolute minimum an experience provider should have no difficulty showing you 50 sets of before and after pictures of quality BBL results. this is at a minimum. highly experienced providers will have hundreds or even thousands of before and after pictures for this procedure. Insist on seeing as many pictures as the provider is willing to show you and let them know that seeing high numbers of before and after pictures is important in your decision making of which surgeon you will use. The more consult your schedule the better your chance of finding the most talented and experienced provider. I also recommend reading all reviews on various physician review websites avoiding providers for any significant number of justified negative reviews. The absence of justified negative reviews is more important and more telling than having an abundance of positive reviews. Revision work or secondary procedures are technically much more difficult than primary procedures so take that into consideration when it comes to your thoughts of having a second operation. Recognize that if it didn’t work the first time is unlikely to work the second time. If this is the best your surgeon could do that it is unlikely they can do better with a second operation and there’s a good chance things can be made worse. Cellulite is challenging and there is no easy consistent treatment that completely fixes it permanently. partial improvements can sometimes be had but it is not done by simply adding volume. that is a simplistic approach and those who recommended clearly don’t understand what causes cellulite to form.
