Dysport injection gone wrong? I woke up this morning and my upper eye lids are so saggy that I can actually pull the skin?

I’m sorry about your situation. This is probably swelling since it takes a few days for Dysport to kick in and begin to work. However, it sounds like you need to talk to your injector about your swelling. Don’t forget it takes 2 to 3 days for it to begin working and the maximum effect is at two weeks.Good luck. Dr. Aldo

I encourage you to speak with your injector about the reaction you are experiencing. This may be related to swelling and should resolve in a couple days. Refrain from massaging the area, vigorous exercise, and try to keep your head elevated. Your injector can further advise you after an evaluation.

Please remember that it can take 2-3 days to start seeing results of Dysport or Botox with the maximum effects seen at 2 weeks. We always recommend that you have these injections performed in offices of board certified dermatologists or plastic surgeons to assure you are getting the best care. From what you are describing, it is unlikely that this is a result of the Dysport as it takes 2-3 days before the Dysport will begin working on your muscles in the areas that were injected. I would suggest that you see your provider and make sure something else is not going on at this time – and good luck that everything will be well here.
